Although this does not happen that frequently, since normally sellers are eager to sell their lots, it can be disappointing when it happens. Keep in mind that although Carsdiecast Auction team cannot "force" a seller to honor the final auction results, you as the bidder can and should leave appropriate feedback for the seller using the Feedback Forum.
Keep in mind that many people don't access their email daily, so they may not be intentionally ignoring you if you don't hear from them.
You should have received an email soon after the auction listing the auction number, and the winning bid. The email is sent on behalf of the seller to you, and the "From:" contains the seller's email address. Auction results are available on the original item's auction page, for up to 30 days after the scheduled close of the auction. If you have the lot number, enter it into the "GO TO" box on the left side on the Home Page. If you have lost the lot number, then do a search based on keywords for the Lot you are looking for.
There is nothing wrong, the system is working correctly. Being immediately outbid means that an earlier bidder specified a maximum bid higher than the maximum you just specified. When you hit SUBMIT, the other bidder's "proxy" immediately placed a bid on his behalf, just enough to outbid your maximum, to ensure his position as high bidder. When you place a bid with a maximum high enough to outbid all other bidders, your proxy will protect your position in the same way.
