Rio item 4121This is a rare collectors
model in 1:43 scale by Rio of Italy, brand new in original packaging,
Rio item number 4121.
The Mercedes Benz 300
was Mercedes top model in the fifties and featured an inline
six with 175 bhp. Construction was traditional body on frame
so it lent itself to many variations in body style. There were
a small number of these L versions built on a longer wheelbase,
and some of these were cabriolets as in this model.
This Rio model features
accurate wheels with plated hubcaps, white walls and correct
profile tyres. The body is very nicely proportioned, finished
in authentic colours and depicts the original car very accurately.
There are also photo etched windscreen wipers and lots of other
plated parts such as grilles, trims, door handles, bumpers and
so on.
The interior features
include steering wheel, seats, detailed dashboard and rear passenger
area.

Rio models come on a black
plastic plinth in a clear plastic display box with outer cardboard
window box. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging.
